Veteran actress Vijayashanti has made some interesting revelations about her journey in the film industry. Speaking in an interview, she recalled that her first remuneration was just ₹5,000.

However, she revealed that she was paid only ₹3,000 and was cheated of the remaining ₹2,000. Despite the setback, Vijayashanti continued to work hard and gradually rose to become one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema.

The actress proudly stated that she eventually reached the ₹1 crore remuneration mark, a remarkable achievement for a female actor in the early 90s.

Vijayashanti also revealed that at the peak of her career, she was considered one of the highest-paid stars in India alongside legends Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth.
