Raashii Khanna is currently working with Superstar Rajinikanth on Dharman. During a recent Instagram Q&A, the actress revealed a fascinating lesser-known story about the superstar from his younger days.
Rajinikanth was reportedly in his late teens when he once had barely enough money for food. He had just one penny in his pocket, enough to buy himself a meal. But instead of spending it on food, he chose to have his palm read. The palm reader looked at his hand, became so excited, and told the young Rajinikanth to remember his words because he was going to reach great heights.
Rajinikanth apparently dismissed the prediction as “hocus-pocus” and walked away. But decades later, he still remembers that moment and continues to believe in palmistry and astrology. The story feels even more fascinating today, knowing the heights Rajinikanth eventually reached.
Raashii also spoke warmly about working with the superstar, calling him one of her favourite co-stars. She said she keeps asking him plenty of questions, while he patiently answers them and often pulls her leg with his sense of humour. She also praised him for being extremely humble and grounded.
