Music director Devi Sri Prasad is all set to turn lead actor with Yellamma, directed by Veny Yeldandi. The film is being produced by noted producer Dil Raju.
Speaking about his acting debut, DSP revealed that he had been receiving offers to play lead roles for many years but chose to turn them down.
However, Yellamma proved to be an exception. He shared that the story instantly struck an emotional chord with him, and within just five minutes of hearing the narration, he decided to take it up.
DSP adds that the character graph, scope for performance, the story, and emotional turmoil, everything was so good and he decided to do the film wight away.
With a strong emotional core and a fresh collaboration, Yellamma marks an exciting new chapter in DSP’s career as he steps in front of the camera.
