We reported a few days ago that Nithiin would be collaborating once again with Sithara Entertainments, the banner owned by Naga Vamsi. Marking the actor’s birthday today, the project has now been officially announced.

After the setback of Ghaati, Anushka Shetty is gearing up for one of her most ambitious projects, Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer, which also marks her Malayalam debut. The actress plays the mysterious character Neeli in this dark fantasy drama directed by Rojin Thomas.

The film is back in the spotlight as the makers have locked an unusual time for the trailer launch. The trailer of Kathanar will be unveiled tomorrow (March 31) at 13:31 PM, a timing that has already sparked curiosity among movie lovers.

Although the shoot was completed long ago, anticipation around the project remains strong. The makers are expected to announce the release date along with the trailer, which has further raised expectations. The makers are also planning a wide multilingual release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and several international languages, making it one of the most ambitious projects to come out of Mollywood.

Mounted on a grand scale with a budget of around Rs. 90 crore, the film stars Jayasurya in the lead role, with special appearances by Mohanlal and Prabhudeva.
