The Paradise is the next biggie from Tollywood. Made on a whopping budget, this Nani starrer is scheduled for release on September 24. The movie, directed by Srikanth Odela, is set against the backdrop of Hyderabad.

At the press meet held in Hyderabad, it was confirmed that the final copy will have a runtime of 169 minutes (2 hours and 49 minutes). Srikanth Odela himself gave the clarification, and given the lengthy runtime, we need to see how the screenplay will be.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas, the film features Kayadu Lohar as the female lead. Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal play the antagonists. Anirudh is composing the tunes.

Epic-First Semester is the latest Telugu film starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the lead roles. The film is directed by Aditya Hasan, who rose to fame with the 90s web series.

The movie opened to mixed responses from audiences and critics. Although the makers had already announced a sequel, its future now seems to depend on the response to the first part.

Speaking at today’s success meet, producer Naga Vamsi said that the team was aware that they were making an experimental film. Talking about the sequel, the young filmmaker said that they would first observe the audience response in theatres and later on Netflix before deciding whether to take the story forward.

So, while the sequel has been announced, its actual development will largely depend on the film’s theatrical and OTT performance. Sivaji, Vasuki, Srinivas Gavireddy, Kalyan Shankar and others played key roles in the movie. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music.
