Story :

The story of this film is a very simple one.

Plus Points :

Chota Bheem is an immensely popular character and kids will turn up in good numbers for this adorable little film. The story of the film is quite well narrated and there is good humour throughout the film. The dialogues and antics of the characters will make kids laugh.

The song ‘Nene Balavanthudni’ has been picturized well. Bheem and his team also dance to the popular IPL jingle ‘Jhampik Jhapang’ and this sequence has come out really well.

Animation quality and over technical values of the film are really good.

Minus Points :

The second half of the film slows down when compared to the first half. Things look up again only towards the climax.

Cinematic liberties have been taken in this animation tale. Logic sometimes goes for a toss.

Arjun’s character could have been better.

Unlike some other animated films, the appeal of this film will be limited to kids alone. Adult viewers may not find the film interesting.

Technical Aspects :

The film’s animation quality is quite good. The clever use of humour and mythology in the film is a big asset. The film’s editor should have taken some care in the second half of the film, to speed up things.

Rajiv Chilaka has largely succeeded in coming up with an engaging tale for kids.

Verdict :

Chota Bheem and the Throne of Bali is a fun filled adventure for kids. Good quality animation, clever humour and an interesting storyline work well for this film.
