Victory Venkatesh changed his avatar completely and chose to act in an intense movie titled Guru. The film generated a highly positive buzz right from the first look posters till premiere shows and released on March 31st to unanimously positive reviews and is still running successfully.
No 3rd position at the box office. .
Undoubtedly, Venkatesh's intense act in the role of an aggressive boxing coach is the major plus of this movie. Director Sudha Kongara comes up with an intense and crystal clear narrative. Debutant Ritika Singh's gutsy performance is yet another major winner for this movie.
The film's slow second half is a downer to an extent. The director takes a long time to build the emotional connect between the characters. The scenes involving Venky training Ritika must have been executed in an even better way.
