Prabhas

A week ago, the Telugu romantic drama Couple Friendly was released. The film features Santosh Soban and Manasa Varanasi as the lead pair. Ashwin Chandrasekhar directed this decent outing, which also received appreciation from India’s biggest superstar, Prabhas.

Surprisingly, Prabhas, who is busy juggling multiple projects, took time off to spend time with the young team after watching their lovely film. The interaction was fun and engaging. A promo from their meeting was released, and the full video is set to come out today. Santosh Soban, in particular, expressed how blessed he feels to have Prabhas’ support.

He shared a warm picture on social media in which he is seen hugging Prabhas tightly, expressing admiration and heartfelt gratitude for his long-standing support. The picture garnered immense love and received a large number of likes from fans.

Meanwhile, the lead pair of Couple Friendly is set to reunite for another film under the direction of the same filmmaker. Details regarding the commencement of the project will be announced soon by producer Dheeraj Mogilineni.

Fauzi

Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is set against the pre-Independence era. The first look and title were released recently on Prabhas’ birthday. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the director revealed many interesting facts and confirmed a sequel to Fauzi. Hanu Raghavapudi described Fauzi as an action-packed story set in the 1940s colonial era.

“Prabhas plays a larger-than-life soldier in Fauzi, and I wanted to infuse his character with the traits of legendary warriors. To me, Arjuna, Karna, and Ekalavya represent three distinct yet powerful dimensions of heroism — skill, sacrifice, and devotion. I wondered what would have happened in the Mahabharata if Karna had joined forces with the Pandavas — it would have completely changed the course of the war. That thought inspired me while shaping this film,” stated Hanu.

Hanu Raghavapudi clarified that Fauzi isn’t a mythological film and further said that the film just draws inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita. According to him, the movie explores the powerful patriotic drama that explores human emotions and socio-political tensions during the British era.

The director added, “We’re portraying one world of Prabhas in this movie, and the second installment will explore another dimension. There’s abundant material from our colonial past — stories that ended tragically but could’ve been fairy tales in another reality. I’ve also woven in a few real-life experiences that inspired me personally.”
