Mirai’s Teja Sajja Joins Prabhas & Jr NTR with Back-to-Back $2.5 million Hits

Teja Sajja has delivered another blockbuster with Mirai, cementing his status as a hit machine. The action-adventure fantasy drama has already crossed the Rs. 112 crore gross mark globally. Meanwhile, the movie has achieved another milestone, putting the young hero in the league of stars like Prabhas and Jr NTR.

Mirai has already collected over $2.5 million at the North American box office. This makes it the second consecutive movie of Teja Sajja to reach this figure, following Hanu-Man. Only Prabhas and Jr NTR have such a record in the USA, and the young actor has now joined this rare club.

Even with new releases in theaters, Mirai continues to draw audiences well into its third week. Directed by Kartik Gattamneni, the film features Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shreya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Getup Srinu, and several others in important roles. Prabhas’ The Raja Saab to Release on January 9, Confirms Producer

The Raja Saab is Prabhas’ upcoming movie, currently in production. Having Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar in the lead female roles, the biggie is directed by Maruthi.

There had been some confusion regarding the release date, whether it would be December 5, 2025, or January 9, 2026. Today, at the Mirai trailer launch event, producer TG Vishwa Prasad confirmed that the movie will release in theaters on January 9, 2026, as a special Sankranthi release.

This Sankranthi is set to be even more exciting for audiences, with films like Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu and Anaganaga Oka Roju, as well as Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, hitting the big screens. The competition will be intense, and it remains to be seen which movies will win the audience’s hearts.

The Raja Saab is a horror-comedy produced on a massive budget, featuring Sanjay Dutt in a crucial role. Thaman has composed the soundtrack, adding to the excitement for this festive release.

Prabhas resumes The Raja Saab Shoot in Hyderabad

Tollywood star Prabhas has a solid lineup of movies, and the actor’s next release is The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. The movie shooting was recently halted because of the union strike.

The issues were resolved, paving the way for smooth shootings in Tollywood. The Raja Saab shooting also resumed today in Hyderabad, and Prabhas has partaken in it.

Key sequences featuring him and other cast members will be canned in this schedule, which will last until the month-end. Reports say that the next schedule will happen in Kerala from September 17, 2025. It is said that Prabhas’ intro song will be filmed during this schedule.

After that, the team will fly abroad to shoot another two songs, which will mark the end of shooting.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad confirmed that the film will be completed by the end of October 2025, with the team planning to release it on January 9, 2026, upon the request of distributors and well-wishers.

Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Nidhhi Agerwal play the female leads, while Sanjay Dutt appears as Prabhas’ grandfather. The Raja Saab is a blend of horror, comedy, and romance, promising a delightful treat for Prabhas fans.
