Reports: Dhurandhar 2’s runtime to be longer than the first part

Dhurandhar is the biggest grosser of Indian cinema for 2025. The spy action thriller, spearheaded by Ranveer Singh, also emerged as Bollywood’s new industry hit, overtaking Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. Currently, anticipation for Dhurandhar 2, a.k.a Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is at an all-time high.

According to the latest media reports, Dhurandhar 2 will have a longer runtime than the first installment. While some reports suggest a duration of 3 hours and 40 minutes, others claim it could extend up to 3 hours and 50 minutes. However, all reports indicate that the sequel will be lengthier than Part 1.

The first film had a runtime of 3 hours and 34 minutes, making it one of the lengthiest films in Indian cinema. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor in key roles.

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, smashed domestic box office records of Bollywood and grossed Rs. 1300 crores worldwide. The second installment, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19.

As audiences eagerly await the sequel, Aditya Dhar’s wife and actress Yami Gautam has heightened the excitement by sharing her exclusive first review. She described Dhurandhar 2 as an experience that people will never forget.

Speaking at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026, Yami said, “My husband makes incredible films. He has that passion. I have already watched Dhurandhar 2. It is beyond extraordinary.”

She added, “I had a flight to catch that day, so I couldn’t say anything to Dhar. Later, I had a script to read and something else to watch, but I couldn’t focus on anything. I first read Dhurandhar’s script while shooting for Article 370. It instantly moved me to tears, and from that moment, I was sure it is a film that will make every Indian proud.”

The most awaited moment of the Dhurandhar: The Revenge teaser is finally here. The makers of the successful Bollywood film have released a gripping teaser for Dhurandhar 2, featuring Ranveer Singh in full wrath mode.

The teaser raises the stakes in terms of content and action. The unfinished business of Hamza Ali Mazari (Jaskirat Singh Rangi) becomes tougher after the killing of Rahman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna).

The teaser is well edited and shows two shades of Ranveer as Hamza and Jaskirat. He has now become stronger in the gangster world of Layri. Meanwhile, the enmity with Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal) continues. However, there is no glimpse of Akshaye Khanna, and the teaser ends with the powerful dialogue, “Yeh naya Hindustan hai. Yeh ghar mein ghusega bhi aur maarega bhi.”

The background score by Shashwat Sachdev intensifies the teaser and raises expectations further.
