The much-awaited announcement has officially come from Sandeep Reddy Vanga regarding the first look of his next film, Spirit, headlined by one of the biggest PAN-India stars, Prabhas. In the movie, the actor plays a cop who gets arrested and sent to jail due to his behavioral issues.

Taking to X, Sandeep Reddy Vanga wrote, “People… a few hours more for SPIRIT – First Poster #Spirit.” Needless to say, expectations have reached new heights. On Prabhas’ birthday, an audio glimpse released by Sandeep Reddy Vanga stormed the internet.

Triptii Dimri will play the leading lady. The big-ticket entertainer also features Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana in key roles. Spirit is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga under the banners of T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures.

Champion: After Prabhas, SS Rajamouli and Jr NTR Extend Best Wishes to Roshan Meka’s Film

Roshan Meka, son of actor Srikanth, brings his new film Champion to theatres tomorrow, supported by decent pre-release buzz. The film is produced by Priyanka Dutt, GK Mohan, and Gemini Kiran, and stars Anaswara Rajan opposite him.

Directed by Pradeep Advaitham, Champion has been receiving strong backing from industry insiders. Several prominent filmmakers and actors, including Nani, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, and Nag Ashwin, have actively promoted the film. The latest to join the list are Prabhas, followed by Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli.

Prabhas took to Instagram to congratulate Roshan Meka and wished the entire team the very best, urging audiences to watch the film in theatres.

On Wednesday, Jr NTR unveiled the release trailer and shared a heartfelt note, saying:
“From Student No. 1 to Champion, Swapna and Priyanka have consistently highlighted and supported new and unique voices in cinema, creating a special brand at Swapna Cinema. Every film they make reflects their love for cinema and the courage to attempt something new. I will always be rooting for Swapna, just as she has always stood by me. SS Rajamouli also extended his support, stating: “Swapna and Priyanka have always pushed themselves to evolve, consistently backing strong content and new-age cinema. With several leading figures from the Telugu film industry publicly backing the project, expectations are now high as audiences await Champion’s box office performance.

Prabhas’ Spirit: Sandeep Reddy Vanga cancels new year break to fast-track shoot?

PAN-India star Prabhas is currently participating in the shoot of Spirit. The film marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and sensational director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Spirit is a cop action drama that will present Prabhas in an intense avatar.

According to a report in Mid-Day, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has reportedly cancelled the New Year break to complete the first schedule at the earliest. The report mentioned, “Spirit kicked off on November 27 in Hyderabad, and the team will shoot till the first week of January before taking a break. The New Year’s break has been called off.”

Reportedly, Sandeep Reddy Vanga wants to fast-track the shoot of the Prabhas–Triptii Dimri starrer, aiming for a mid-2027 release. The film also stars Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj, and Kanchana in key roles. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is the music composer. T-Series along with Bhadrakaali Pictures is jointly bankrolling this tent-pole project.
