The first season of The Traitors Telugu reaches its conclusion with the much-awaited 10th episode. After 9 episodes filled with murders, eliminations, mind games and unexpected twists, the finale brings the remaining contestants into a decisive battle. With Shravya Varma joining Sweekar Agasthi as a Traitor, the Innocents face a difficult challenge. Can they identify both Traitors and take home the prize money of Rs. 42.77 lakh? Let’s see how the finale unfolds.

The Final Five and the Traitors’ Advantage

The final episode begins after the previous night’s murder eliminates Pranav Chaganti, the final contestant to be murdered. Meghanath, Varsha, Sweekar, Shravya and Dhanunjaya are now the final five, with Sweekar and Shravya as the only remaining Traitors.

Shravya’s recruitment has completely changed the balance. Until then, she was one of the strongest Innocents and had helped identify several major Traitors. She understood the Innocents’ thinking, and that knowledge became a major advantage after her recruitment.

Meghanath is analytical, but often plays for self-preservation, looking for protection from murder rather than thinking about the group. His friendship with Sweekar and Shravya also affects his judgement.

Varsha appears confident but trusts Shravya blindly, failing to see how that bond can help the Traitors. Dhanunjaya is a gamer, but his poor reads, including suspecting innocent Mouneesha, have weakened his credibility. Pranav was calm, but not a decisive force in the final stretch.

Dhanunjaya’s Exit Keeps the Suspense Alive

In the final Round of Doubt, Meghanath, Varsha, Sweekar and Shravya all point towards Dhanunjaya. The Traitors know he is innocent, but eliminating him suits their plan. Dhanunjaya is voted out, yet, unlike earlier eliminated contestants, he does not reveal his identity. This keeps the audience guessing about how many Traitors remain. Teja’s decision to withhold the reveal adds suspense at an important stage. Dhanunjaya eventually reads both remaining Traitors correctly, but his earlier mistakes mean the others no longer take his suspicions seriously.

Teja also has brief individual conversations with the contestants, including Dhanunjaya, asking how they feel and whom they suspect. They offer little to the gameplay before the final Trust or Doubt challenge.

The Final Trust or Doubt Game

The four remaining contestants – Meghanath, Varsha, Sweekar and Shravya – take their positions on the dais, with Teja in the middle. Red represents Doubt (a Traitor is still present), while green represents Trust (no Traitor remains).

All four choose Doubt in the first round of voting. During the discussion, Varsha correctly identifies Sweekar as a Traitor. Meghanath names Varsha, while Sweekar and Shravya also target her. Sweekar wants to reduce the number of contestants, increasing the share for each Traitor if they win. Shravya’s vote protects their position. Varsha is eliminated without an identity reveal, adding to the suspense.

Meghanath’s vote shows how personal equations influence the game. He trusts Sweekar and Shravya because of their earlier bonds, allowing emotional connections to outweigh the evidence. Varsha gets Sweekar right, but cannot convince the others.

Shravya’s Final Move

With Varsha gone, only Meghanath, Sweekar and Shravya remain. In the next round, Sweekar and Shravya choose Trust. They know they are Traitors and want Meghanath to believe that no Traitor remains. Meghanath chooses Doubt and names Sweekar, showing that he still senses danger. However, he continues to trust Shravya, partly because she had helped the Innocents expose Traitors earlier.

Sweekar names Meghanath, and Shravya also votes against him. Meghanath is shocked by the betrayal, but soon understands that it is part of the game.

Teja then asks the two remaining contestants to reveal their identities. Sweekar confirms that he is a Traitor, which Meghanath expects. Shravya’s reveal is the bigger shock. The contestant who once helped the Innocents identify Traitors has now become one herself and played a central role in their defeat. Sweekar and Shravya win the entire prize money of Rs. 42,77,000.

Verdict

The finale delivers a satisfying conclusion to the first season of The Traitors Telugu. Shravya emerges as the biggest winner of the game, and her transformation from one of the strongest Innocents into a successful Traitor is the season’s major highlight. Sweekar also deserves credit for choosing the right partner and maintaining his position until the end.

The Innocents played well in the initial stages but repeatedly eliminated their own members because of misplaced suspicions. Shravya’s entry into the Traitors’ camp made things even easier for the hidden players, as she knew exactly how to manipulate the people who trusted her.

The final Trust or Doubt game provides excitement, but its format could have been designed better to raise the stakes and turn the dais into a more intense psychological battle. The contestants needed more opportunities to question, defend their choices and manipulate one another. Teja’s individual interactions could also have been more engaging.

At around 1 hour and 15 minutes, the finale feels lengthy, and splitting it into two episodes would have allowed the final discussions, eliminations and reveals to develop with greater impact.

Despite these shortcomings, the finale gives the season a proper ending, with the Traitors winning the entire prize pot of Rs. 42.77 lakh. As Teja’s famous line goes, everything is fair in love, war and The Traitors!

After Ashika Padukone was left as the only Traitor following the eliminations of Vishnu Oi and Rahat Achanta, Shravya Varma emerged as the strongest player among the Innocents. However, the next three episodes of The Traitors Telugu bring a major twist that changes the entire game. Hosted by Teja Sajja, episodes seven to nine feature psychological challenges, heated arguments and unexpected alliances, with Shravya’s transformation into a Traitor becoming the biggest highlight.

Ashika Brings Sweekar Into the Traitors’ Camp

With Ashika being the only remaining Traitor, she recruits Sweekar Agasthi to strengthen her side. Sweekar has largely remained an under-the-radar contestant, but his observations and predictions suggest that he understands the game well.

The Museum of Riddles mission in episode seven is worth Rs. 9 lakh, and the contestants collectively secure Rs. 7.2 lakh. Mouneesha Chowdary impresses with her performance, while Shravya receives a shield that protects her from midnight murder. Shreedevi Chowdary, however, fails to contribute much to the task, citing her difficulty with Telugu riddles.

Her bossy behaviour and strained relationships have already made her unpopular among several contestants. At the Round of Doubt, the Innocents turn against her and eliminate her. The Traitors benefit from this development as the Innocents once again eliminate one of their own.

The midnight murder of Pragathi Mahavadi further weakens the Innocents. She is one of the stronger contestants, and her exit is a significant loss to the group.

Shravya Leads the Charge Against Ashika

The eighth episode features a psychological mission in which the contestants must understand how the Traitors perceive the Innocents. It is an interesting concept, as the hidden players’ opinions reveal how they assess their fellow contestants.

The mission is worth Rs. 9 lakh, but the contestants manage to secure only Rs. 4 lakh by answering two of the six questions correctly. The total prize pot reaches Rs. 42.77 lakh.

The real drama unfolds during the Round of Doubt. Shravya is convinced that Ashika is a Traitor, while Puppala Dhanunjaya suspects Mouneesha after claiming to have seen her participate in selecting an Innocent for midnight murder. Their disagreement creates confusion within the group.

However, Shravya sticks to her instincts and successfully convinces the others to target Ashika. Ashika is eliminated and reveals herself as the OG Traitor. Shravya deserves credit for identifying another Traitor, proving once again that she is among the smartest contestants in the game.

Sweekar’s Masterstroke Changes Everything

With Ashika gone, Sweekar becomes the only remaining Traitor and needs a partner to continue the game. His choice is Shravya, which is arguably the biggest twist in these episodes.

The contestant who has successfully identified multiple Traitors is now part of their team. Sweekar’s decision is a clever move because Shravya already understands the Innocents’ thinking and has earned their trust. She can use that advantage to mislead them without immediately attracting suspicion.

For Shravya, the challenge is to maintain her usual behaviour and avoid revealing her new identity through sudden changes in her attitude or body language. Her ability to understand the other contestants could make her extremely dangerous as a Traitor.

Mouneesha’s Exit and Harsha’s Elimination

The ninth day begins with the midnight murder of Mouneesha, another major setback for the Innocents. She has shown good observation skills and played an important role in earlier missions. Dhanunjaya feels guilty about her elimination, believing that his earlier suspicions may have put her in danger.

The bluffing mission brings another interesting challenge. With seven contestants remaining, they form three pairs, leaving Dhanunjaya without a partner. The contestants must choose between two boxes, with an opportunity to swap their selections.

Sweekar secures the dagger, which provides an additional vote at the Round of Doubt. However, Pranav, also known as Abhinavakavi, chooses Shravya’s gold instead of the dagger when given the opportunity to swap. This decision becomes an important talking point.

At the Round of Doubt, Harsha Vardhan and Dhanunjaya come under pressure. Shravya directs suspicion towards Harsha, while Harsha suspects Varsha D’Souza of being a Traitor. The majority eventually turn against Harsha, and he is eliminated. Once again, the Innocents lose another member because of their inability to identify the real Traitors.

The Final Six: Traitors Have the Advantage

With Harsha’s elimination, only six contestants remain: Shravya, Sweekar, Varsha, Pranav, Manjunath and Dhanunjaya. Two of them are Traitors, while the remaining four are Innocents.

Varsha appears to be the strongest possibility for turning the game around, and Manjunath needs to support her. Dhanunjaya has struggled to convert his observations into effective decisions, while Pranav needs to become more active in discussions.

On the other side, Sweekar’s decision to recruit Shravya could prove to be a masterstroke. However, their partnership may not remain straightforward, as both are ultimately competing for the prize money.

Missions and Hosting Need More Impact

The missions are reasonably interesting, particularly the psychological challenge and the bluffing task. However, they do not create the same excitement as some of the challenges in episodes four to six. The focus is more on confusing contestants and testing their understanding of one another than providing engaging competitive moments.

Teja Sajja does an adequate job as the host, but the missions and heated discussions take centre stage. The show could benefit from more engaging challenges and tighter presentation.

Verdict

Episodes seven to nine make The Traitors Telugu more unpredictable, with Shravya’s transformation into a Traitor becoming the biggest highlight. The Traitors have cleverly used personal disagreements and misplaced trust to eliminate strong Innocents, putting themselves in a commanding position.

However, the missions could have been more engaging, and some contestants need to improve their participation. With only six players remaining, the finale promises an interesting battle between the two Traitors and four Innocents. Shravya and Sweekar have the advantage, but Varsha and Manjunath still have a chance to turn things around.

It is no longer just about identifying the Traitors. It is about bluffing, surviving and knowing when to betray even your own partner. With the grand finale arriving next week, all eyes are on Shravya and Sweekar. Will the Traitors pull off a final victory, or will the Innocents expose them at the last moment? The final episode could turn everything upside down, making it the most exciting chapter of the season.

After the elimination of Chinmayi Sripada, Nikhil Vijendra Simha, Gaurav Sunil and Vidyullekha Raman, The Traitors Telugu returns with three new episodes that bring better missions, heated arguments and some interesting mind games. Hosted by Teja Sajja, the show becomes more engaging as the contestants struggle to identify the Traitors while protecting themselves from suspicion.

Vishnu’s Entry Into the Traitors Changes the Game

Episode four begins with Dhananjay returning to the house after being eliminated before entering the game. Many contestants expect him to become a Traitor, but Teja Sajja and the existing Traitors, Ashika Padukone and Rahat Achanta, choose Vishnu Oi instead.

However, Vishnu fails to maintain his cover. His sudden change in behaviour raises suspicions, and he is banished within a day, giving the Innocents another important win. The Traitors strike back by murdering Sai Ronak, reducing the number of Innocents and keeping the pressure on the group.

Meanwhile, Rahat plays a careful game, building trust with Varsha D’Souza and Pranav Chaganti while trying to direct suspicion towards others. His strategy works for a while, but Shravya Varma begins questioning his actions.

Missions Finally Bring the Required Tension

The biggest improvement in these episodes is the missions. Each challenge feels more engaging than the previous one, adding tension to a game that depends on both teamwork and individual decisions.

The first mission involves carrying a symbolic dead body and collecting watches and sandalwood. The contestants fail to complete the challenge successfully and add nothing to the common prize pot.

The second mission, worth Rs. 28 lakh, brings a more interesting twist. Seven pairs must roll barrels towards a hut, but the real test comes when contestants must choose between keeping their individual winnings or contributing them to the common prize pot. Not one contestant puts money into the shared fund. Everyone chooses personal gain over collective success, exposing the lack of unity in the group. Although the contestants behave like friends during conversations, their decisions show that everyone is ultimately playing for themselves.

The third mission raises the tension further. The Traitors select Shravya, Mouneesha Chowdary, Harsha Vardhan and Dhananjay as potential targets for a midnight murder. The remaining contestants must rescue them, but only Mouneesha is saved, with Rahat playing a key role. Ironically, Mouneesha later suspects Rahat of being a Traitor. His attempt to gain her trust does not stop her from following her instincts.

Shravya Shines as Rahat Comes Under Pressure

Shravya emerges as the strongest player among the Innocents. After helping expose Vidyullekha, she again identifies suspicious behaviour and points towards Rahat. Her arguments prove correct when Rahat is banished, giving the Innocents another significant victory.

Rahat’s elimination also shows how personal relationships can become a weakness in this game. Varsha is disappointed to discover that someone she trusted was using their closeness as part of his strategy. Pranav, however, continues to believe Rahat is innocent, showing how easily trust can cloud judgment.

Pragathi Mahavadi also makes a positive impression, particularly after believing she played a role in Vishnu’s elimination. Swikar Agasthi has good instincts but needs to express his suspicions more confidently. Harsha Vardhan, meanwhile, struggles to identify the real Traitors, suspecting Shravya and later Dhananjay instead of Rahat.

Dhananjay also needs to become more vocal. Staying quiet may keep him away from immediate conflict, but it can make him an easy target, as the earlier eliminations of Gaurav Sunil and Palguni Bhangera demonstrate.

Ashika Has the Biggest Challenge Ahead

With Vishnu and Rahat out, Ashika Padukone is now the only remaining Traitor. Her quiet approach has helped her avoid suspicion, but she can no longer rely on another Traitor to share the pressure. She must find ways to manipulate the Innocents without exposing herself.

Shravya remains a major threat, while the divisions among the contestants could give Ashika opportunities to turn them against one another. The coming episodes will reveal whether she can take advantage of their personal grudges and misplaced trust.

Teja Sajja Takes a Back Seat

Teja Sajja remains a capable host, but he offers less entertainment in these episodes than in the opening three. The missions and increasingly heated Round of Doubt discussions take centre stage as friendships begin to crack and contestants openly question one another.

Verdict :

Episodes four to six make The Traitors Telugu a more engaging watch, mainly because of the improved missions and the growing intensity of the mind games. Shravya’s instincts give the Innocents an edge, while the contestants’ refusal to contribute to the common prize pot exposes their selfishness.

However, the lengthy runtime remains a drawback. Each episode runs for around an hour and 15 minutes, with some approaching or exceeding two hours. Although the show has several interesting moments worth watching, stretching every discussion and development makes it difficult to watch multiple episodes in one sitting.

With Ashika as the lone remaining Traitor, the balance of power has shifted, and it will be interesting to see whether she can turn the tables.
