Universal Star Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ is continuing its good run at the Box Office and the film is firmly on track to becoming a decent hit in Andhra Pradesh. The film is all set to release on Feb 7th in Tamil Nadu and analysts are predicting a bumper opening there. To add to Kamal Haasan’s cheer, the film is turning in a solid performance in overseas territories and in North India, where it has been dubbed as ‘Vishwaroop’.
The movie faced a lot of heat in Tamil Nadu after the Government banned it on the grounds of ‘disrupting religious harmony’. The issue has been resolved after a strong backlash against the Government from media circles and after Kamal Haasan agreed to cut a few scenes.
Kamal Haasan is the director and producer of this big budget venture that also has Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapoor and Rahul Bose.
