It was already reported that legendary music composer AR Rahman has set up his production house, YM Movies, to produce a Tamil-Hindi bilingual titled 99 Songs (99 Padangal). The film will be directed by debutant Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and Rahman himself has penned the film’s script.
99 Songs is a musical and it showcases the struggles of an aspiring singer to make it big in the musical industry. Rahman decided to commence the film’s shooting from the end of this year and currently, his team is on a hunt to rope in a new south Indian actor with musical knowledge. Rahman has already finished composing the tunes for the film.
