The mythological epic Ramayana is coming to the big screen with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in key roles. Produced by Namit Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film will release worldwide on November 5, 2026.
At the Tamil pre-release event, Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita, asked audiences to watch the film in 3D. She said watching the trailer on a mobile phone was a different experience compared to watching it on the big screen in 3D.
Sai Pallavi also spoke about Namit Malhotra’s vision for the film. She said he did not want to make a mediocre version of Ramayana. She urged audiences to take their children along and watch the film in 3D in theatres.
“We are proud of what we delivered to the biggest story in the world,” she said. She also mentioned that this was the last promotional event in India and that the team would now move overseas for promotions.
The film also features Ravi Dubey, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Indira Krishnan and Kunal Kapoor. Hans Zimmer has worked on the background score, while A. R. Rahman has composed the songs.
