Recent Telugu release Raju Weds Rambai has been receiving strong applause from audiences. Released as a small-budget film, the Saailu Kaampati directorial made a solid collection on day three.
With the first weekend over, the rural love story grossed Rs 7.28 crore (for 3 days), according to the makers. They also announced that the film has entered the profit zone.
The collections continue to grow each day, and the real test begins today as it is Monday. The makers have also increased ticket prices, and it remains to be seen how the film will fare at the box office from here on.
The supporting cast includes Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, Shivaji Raja and Anitha Chowdary. The film is produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi, with music by Suresh Bobbili.
