Yet another film from the Nandamuri clan, Eduruleni Alexander has released all over the state today. Directed by PLK Reddy, this film has Tarakaratna and Komal Jha in lead roles. Let us check out how this action drama fares at the box office.

Story:

Alexander (Tarakaratna) is a sincere police officer in Vizag. He battles against injustice, and gets a tag of a encounter specialist. One fine day, he gets transferred to Hyderabad.

On the other hand, two deadly goons Jinnah Bhai (Ravi babu) and Kottappa (Jayaprkash Reddy) deal with land grabbing and prostitution in the city.

Rest of the story is so to how Alexander curbs all these illegal activities, and save the innocent from the traps of Jinnah Bhai.

Plus Points:

Tarakaratna performs to the best of his capacity, and is convincing in some scenes. Ravi Babu has done justice to his role and makes a decent effort as the bad guy.

Message showcased in the film is good and will help the current youth.

Minus Points:

The way Tarakratna has been introduced is very ordinary. Komal Jha has nothing to do in this film, except for a few songs. There is absolutely no chemistry between the lead pair.

There are a number of unnecessary scenes which only increase the run time. There is no entertainment which is a big turn off. Interval bang is very flat.

There is a heavy dose of vulgarity, which might not go well with the family audience. Lack of star value is also a big drawback. The whole plot of the film is routine and is quite predictable.

Technical Aspects:

Dialogues are below average and are too lengthy. Music of the film is quite bad, and so is the background score. Camera work is bad and showcases the film in low quality. Editor could have scrapped many scenes in the film.

As said earlier music is very poor. Director tried to give a message with this action drama, but went overboard in his execution.

Verdict:

On the whole, ‘Eduruleni Alexander’ is a very poor action drama with a high dose of vulgarity. Tarakratna has to select some decent scripts if he wants to make a successful comeback. You can simply ignore this film this weekend.
