Krishnashtami : Following the release of Bheemavaram Bullodu in 2014, star comedian turned hero Sunil had no theatrical release until his Krishnashtami hit the screens on February 19. Sunil was hoping to bounce back to his previous form with Krishnashtami's success. However, mixed response from critics and audiences deterred his hopes to an extent and the film is performing good in B and C centres while its business is okay in A centres.

 

Apart from Sunil's dedicated performance, the glamour treat by the film's leading ladies Nikki Galrani and Dimple Chopade and the last 30 minutes in the first half, Krishnashtami had a very few positives going for it.

 

Krishnashtami suffers mainly due to its done to death story and the weak characterization for Sunil's NRI character. Songs that come at regular intervals act as a major hindrance to the film's flow and test audiences' patience.
