Kaashmora : Popular Tamil hero Karthi's high budget costume drama, Kaashmora, hit the screens last week to a decent response from fans and solid openings at the box-office. Directed by Gokul, this film has been released in Telugu by PVP Cinema and is leading the pack of Diwali releases.

 

Undoubtedly, Karthi's dual act as Raj Nayaki and Kaashmora are the major highlights in this film. The first half and pre-interval episodes are quite good. Comedy worked out quite well in these scenes. The fantasy elements in the flashback and the VFX work in these scenes are spectacular.

 

Lack of a strong narrative in the flashback episodes is the main drawback of Kaashmora. Excessive runtime and poorly executed scenes bore the audience. The film doesn't make a riveting impact as a horror thriller.
