Telangana CM KCR has assured that Hyderabad will be the major film hub of India in near future. Speaking at an event last night, KCR remembered Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s request for his support in making Hyderabad a major force in the Indian film industry.
“I will soon meet with the Tollywood bigwigs and discuss the plan of action for realizing Amitabh ji’s dream. Amitabh ji had told me during the ANR Foundation event sometime back that Hyderabad has the potential to produce more than 250 movies per year and that with the government’s support, the city will compete with Mumbai in film production. We will strive to make it possible,” KCR said.
