Every day, Aditya Dhar, director of the Dhurandhar franchise, has been extending his gratitude to all the technicians who have poured their heart and soul into his creation. Today, he extended his heartfelt appreciation to music composer Shashwat Sachdev, one of the main pillars of the movie, whose work amplified the film’s impact by miles with his breathtaking and addictive tracks.
Aditya Dhar wrote that he sees Shashwat not just as a music composer but as his younger brother, reflecting the rapport they share. Dhar also revealed an astonishing fact: Shashwat completed recording 9 songs in 9 days for Part 1, along with the entire background score in just 6 days.
For the sequel, Sachdev took just 11 days to compose 14 songs and only 3 days for the background score, an incredible feat, especially considering the high quality of the tracks and score.
Aditya Dhar mentioned that his house became a music studio for two weeks, with singers and musicians coming and going endlessly, and Shashwat at the center of it all. Despite being unwell, Shashwat gave it his all and showed up fully for the film. Dhar finally concluded that he will always be grateful to Shashwat.
Here’s to Shashwat Sachdev.
Some collaborations go beyond work, they become deeply personal.⁰Sha has been that for me.
Not just the music composer of Dhurandhar but someone I see as a younger brother, someone I’ve shared chaos, silence, ideas and some of the most intense… pic.twitter.com/EJ8O0LH2cY— Aditya Dhar (@AdityaDharFilms) April 7, 2026
