The peppy and vibrant devotional title song from Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s Akhanda was released a couple of weeks ago to a huge response from fans. Composed by Thaman, the song was crooned by Shankar Mahadevan and his sons Siddharth and Shivam.
Akhanda is gearing up for its theatrical release on December 2nd. As part of the film’s promotions, Thaman interacted with the media and opened up about various aspects of Akhanda’s soundtrack. He particularly talked at length about the film’s title song. Thaman revealed that he and his team did extensive research on Aghoras and their way of life and that he took a month to compose the title song. “The song comes after a terrific scene and Balayya garu will take the movie to the next level from there,” said Thaman.
Also starring Srikanth, Jagapathi Babu, Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna in lead roles, Akhanda has been produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy.
