In an interesting move, Nithiin joined hands with Nani for a love story to be produced by the latter. The film, titled Alias Rukmini, is being directed by Murali Kanth Devasoth, who turned heads with his first film Dhandoraa. The first glimpse offered pleasant vibes with euphonious music and beautiful visuals.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Nani spoke about Alias Rukmini, but what he mentioned will certainly excite Nithiin’s admirers. When asked if he is producing anything right now, Nani answered, “I’m producing something very, very beautiful. It’s called Alias Rukmini. I have seen the rushes. It is coming out really well. I’m so happy. That’s going to be something very, very special.”
When asked to reveal what the film is about, Nani gently declined to answer, stating that it’s very hard to tell and that he would reveal the idea if he said anything more than this. However, Nani quickly added that people can make sense of what the movie is about from the announcement video.
Nani is someone who doesn’t usually hype things up. Especially when the topic is his production ventures, Nani’s statements have struck a chord with audiences earlier. Going by what he just said about Alias Rukmini, it appears that Nithiin could be in for a strong comeback.
