Ponniyin Selvan: 1 was an important film for Tamilians which released recently. This Mani Ratnam’s directorial has minted more than 400 crores at the global box office and erased many existing records. In Tamilnadu and USA, the film was the highest-grossing one.
Proficient filmmaker Selvaraghavan opined that AR Rahman’s PS:1 music album was the best in his experience. The path-breaking director wrote that the attention to detail in even the minutest sounds is astounding. To note, Selvaraghavan’s Naane Varuvean clashed with PS:1 during the Dussehra time.
The second part of this PAN Indian biggie will be hitting the screens by Summer 2023, as revealed at a promotional event by Mani Ratnam. Ponniyin Selvan has an ensemble cast of Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi in key roles. Lyca Productions jointly bankrolled this epic period action drama with Madras Talkies.
The best music album in my experience is with out doubt @arrahman and #maniratnam sir’s ponniyin Selvan ! The attention to detail in even the minutest sounds is astounding!
