Varisu is a special film for Thalapathy Vijay as he is teaming up with a Telugu director for the first time. There are a lot of expectations around the film, and the first single, Ranjithame, was highly successful in matching the hype.
The latest news is that Seven Screen Studios has bagged the Tamilnadu theatrical rights of this biggie for a solid amount. The same has been officially announced by the film’s production house Sri Venkateswara Creations, a while ago. The film will clash with Ajith’s Thunivu for Pongal 2023.
It would be interesting to see the battle of both the top stars of Tamil cinema. Varisu, directed by Vamsi Paidipally, has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. SS Thaman is composing the tunes. The movie will be released as Vaarasudu in Telugu.
