Rohit Shetty is famous for making mass masala entertainers, and he has exhibited his mettle many times in the past. After the pandemic, his film Sooryavanshi paved the way for other releases by collecting good revenue. But the commercial director has now failed to catch the audience’s pulse. His Cirkus movie opened to poor reviews and word of mouth.
Surprisingly, the film failed to post a respectable total on day one even after having a star like Ranveer Singh. The early estimates project that the movie raked in around 7-7.5 net on day one. Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi fetched 26 crores on day one, and Cirkus’s openings indicate the audience’s apparent rejection of the film.
We need to see if the film can gain any momentum over the weekend. Pooja Hedge, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Jonny Lever, and Sanjay Mishra played crucial roles in this period comedy flick produced by Rohit Shetty Pictures, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series.
