Samantha starrer Shaakuntalam is surrounded by rumors that it will not hit the screens on 17th February as planned. This has caused some sort of confusion among the fans, and they await an official confirmation.

Dev Mohan plays King Dushyant’s role in this flick which is based on the play Abhigyanam Shaakuntalam written by Kalidasa. Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Aditi Balan, Gauthami, Ananya Nagalla, and Kabir Duhan play crucial roles. Directed by Gunasekhar, this mythological drama is produced by Neelima Guna under Gunaa Team Works.
