Hero Vijay’s highly-anticipated gangster drama, Leo, under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction, is one of the most eagerly awaited Indian movies of 2023. The filming is fast nearing its completion, and the film will open in cinemas worldwide on October 19, as a Diwali festive treat for fans. And here is a massive update on Leo’s release plans.
In a latest interview one of Leo’s producers, SS Lalit Kumar, has revealed that plans are on to release Leo in a staggering 1,500 screens out of the 3,000 plus screens available in the USA and Canada. This is surely a massive release for any South Indian film in the Northern American region.
Lalit Kumar also revealed that the team had initially planned to dub Leo in English for a much better reach in foreign countries. However, the plan was dropped eventually due to time constraints. Also starring Trisha, Arjun and Sanjay Dutt in key roles, Leo has its soundtrack composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
