Lenin is the next theatrical outing from Akhil Akkineni. The film is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame. Recently, the makers announced that the movie will hit the big screens in Summer 2026.
Initially, Sreeleela was cast as the female lead, and even a glimpse featuring her was released. However, due to scheduling conflicts, she opted out of the film, and Bhagyasri Borse replaced her. Today, the makers unveiled the first look of Bhagyasri, and she looks enchanting and charming in a traditional attire. She plays Bharathi in this rural entertainer.
The first single will be out on January 5. Naga Vamsi, along with King Nagarjuna, is producing the film under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios, respectively. Reportedly, Lenin revolves around the sensitive issue of honour killings. SS Thaman is the music composer.
