The entire nation is eagerly awaiting the mythological epic Ramayana, helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. Mounted on a staggering budget, the film features Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, respectively.
It has been a while since the makers unveiled the announcement video, offering a glimpse into the film’s ambitious scale and vision. With Shri Rama Navami approaching, audiences were expecting a special update from the team to mark the auspicious occasion, given the film’s thematic relevance.
However, the makers have maintained a guarded silence, with no updates forthcoming. This has left fans disappointed, as many believe the occasion would have been ideal to reveal something significant from the film.
It now remains to be seen whether the team will surprise audiences with a last-minute reveal or continue to keep things under wraps.
Backed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with the eight-time Oscar-winning VFX powerhouse DNEG, the film is being crafted on an unprecedented scale. Yash’s Monster Mind Creations is also co-producing the project, further amplifying its grandeur.
The ensemble cast includes Yash, Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, and Ravie Dubey in pivotal roles. With music composed by AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer, and a screenplay penned by Shridhar Raghavan, the film is envisioned as India’s first project designed for IMAX.
