Mega Prince Varun Tej will next be seen in the horror-comedy entertainer Korean Kanakaraju. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film features Ritika Nayak as the female lead and is set to grace cinemas on August 7, 2026.
The theatrical trailer of Korean Kanakaraju was launched today at an event held at AAA Cinemas, Hyderabad. The trailer looks amusing with an interesting storyline and a good entertainment quotient. Kanakaraju, who belongs to Rayalaseema, is possessed by a Korean spirit, shocking everyone. While some are terrified, others try to communicate with the spirit, but a language barrier leads to hilarious situations.
The protagonist, female lead Ritika Nayak, and Satya then travel to Korea to trace the roots of the Korean spirit. The portions set in Korea promise thrills and intense action as Varun Tej takes on some gangsters. The interesting connection to Korea, Varun Tej’s transformation, heroic elements, and the comedy appear pretty good. Overall, the trailer looks very promising.
Korean Kanakaraju is jointly produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Baba Jagarlamudi under the banners of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments. Sunil and Muralidhar Goud will be seen in key roles.
