Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and headlined by Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, created a rampage at the box office. None expected such mammoth numbers since the film featured new faces. It is one of the biggest hits in terms of return on investment.
According to the latest report in Variety India, Ahaan Panday will once again team up with Mohit Suri for a romantic drama that will be produced by Yash Raj Films, the banner that backed Saiyaara as well.
The report mentioned, “Suri finished writing the plot for his new film, a rom-com with an older guy and a younger girl. But that didn’t work out with the actor he had in mind. It was Aditya Chopra who suggested he make another rom-com with Ahaan. Since his second film is an action film in which he plays a gangster, the producer felt that the duo returning with romance is something the audience will lap up.”
Mohit Suri is said to be making changes to the script in a way that suits Ahaan Panday. The romantic entertainer is expected to go on floors by the end of 2026.
