After facing multiple delays since January 2026, Jana Nayagan suffered a setback as the whole film were leaked online, with six individuals reportedly taken in for investigation. Touted as Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, the project has been under pressure due to ongoing release hurdles.
Now, a fresh wave of positive buzz is gaining momentum. According to Tamil media reports, the long-delayed censor certification is expected to be cleared tomorrow. The makers are planning for an April 30, 2026 release, subject to approval, and fans are eagerly awaiting an official confirmation.
Directed by H Vinoth, the film stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Bobby Deol, with cameo appearances by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nelson, and others. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will also release in Telugu as Jana Nayakudu.
