Lokesh Kanagaraj is testing his luck as a protagonist with DC, a crime action drama co-starring Bollywood actress Wamiqa Gabbi. Directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sun Pictures, the film is set to hit theatres on August 7, 2026.

DC is also getting a Telugu release, and the latest update is that its Telugu version has been awarded an ‘A’ certificate by the CBFC. The revenge drama has also locked a decent runtime of 2 hours and 22 minutes.

So far, much of the film’s buzz has been driven by Anirudh Ravichander’s music. With multiple films releasing on the same Friday, positive word of mouth will be crucial for DC to make an impact at the Telugu box office.
