One of India’s greatest epics, Ramayana, is being retold on the big screen under the same title. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita, respectively, the film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra.

On the auspicious occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, the makers unveiled the first poster featuring Siya and Ram together, captured in a moment of seclusion. The 30-second video offers just a glimpse of the grand world being created by the team and marks the beginning of a series of major reveals to come. The first single, ‘Jai Jai Ram,’ composed by A.R. Rahman, will be released soon.

The mega-budget epic boasts a stellar ensemble cast, with Yash, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Vivek Oberoi and others playing key roles. Yash is also a co-producer of the film, while Hans Zimmer is associated with the project as a composer. The first part of Ramayana is scheduled to release on November 6, 2026, in multiple languages and formats.
