Latest Kollywood release Mandaadi is setting the cash registers ringing. After a slow start, the film picked up brilliantly in the Telugu states. The rural sports drama is headlined by Soori and Suhas.
According to trade reports, Mandaadi earned Rs. 6.5 crores gross in its first weekend in the Telugu states, an impressive number for a dubbed film. The numbers kept increasing with each passing day, and today, it registered housefuls in many areas.
In its full run, trade is estimating over Rs. 15 crores gross in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Written and directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi and produced by Elred Kumar under the banner of RS Infotainment, the film also stars Mahima Nambiar and Sathyaraj in key roles.
