Jailer 2 brings Rajinikanth back as the iconic Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is set for a grand theatrical release on October 15, 2026. The sequel has generated immense buzz across South India, with expectations soaring high for Thalaivar’s return.
Ticket sales have now officially opened across Nizam with no price hikes. Keeping regular ticket rates is a welcome relief for regular moviegoers. Trade circles hope other big-ticket releases will take a cue from this and follow the same trend.
Bookings are currently live exclusively on District, with shows rolling out in a phased manner. At present, only opening-day tickets for single screens have gone live across the region. Multiplexes and additional venues are expected to list their schedules as the release date draws closer.
It will be interesting to see how this ground buzz converts into massive opening-day numbers in the Telugu states. Meanwhile, advance sales across Andhra Pradesh will open very soon as clearances come through. Stay tuned for more updates on this Rajinikanth starrer.
