Arasan is Vetrimaaran’s next film, starring Silambarasan TR (STR). The movie is back on sets, and the latest crazy buzz is that Tollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is also part of it.
As per the buzz, the Spirit director has reportedly acted in a brief cameo, and the shooting for his part is also said to be complete. We need to see if this news holds any truth. If it turns out to be true, this will mark his big-screen appearance after Mahanati, which was released in 2018.
Earlier, he denied being part of Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend. He is currently working on Spirit, which is now set for a Diwali 2027 release. Prabhas will be seen playing a cop in the film.
Coming back to Arasan, apart from Simbu, the action drama features Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Yoga Lakshmi and others in key roles. Kalaipuli S. Thanu is producing the movie, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
