The clash between Ramayana and Godzilla Minus Zero has been averted in India. The Japanese monster film was earlier scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 6.
The film’s official distribution partner, PVR-INOX, has now released a poster stating that the monster film will arrive in November without specifying a date. This officially confirms the delay in its release.
Both Ramayana and Godzilla Minus Zero have been designed for a premium-format experience. In particular, the IMAX format plays a key role in presenting the films the way their makers intended.
Due to the limited availability of IMAX screens, exhibitors and distributors have chosen Ramayana, given its massive demand in the domestic market. Ramayana is now set to enjoy a full-fledged rollout in the IMAX format.
