Dulquer Salmaan’s Aakasamlo Oka Tara, directed by Pavan Sadineni, is his first Telugu film since Lucky Baskhar and hits theatres on November 20, 2026. Ahead of the release, the makers dropped the unplugged version of the track ‘Radhe Radhe’ with a live stage performance, where Dulquer and composer GV Prakash Kumar performed together. After the show, the two spoke about working on the film.

GV Prakash called the script one of the best he had read in five years and said scoring the final reel got him emotional. On why he keeps saying yes to Dulquer’s projects, he said that whenever something comes from him, he doesn’t think twice.

Dulquer admitted that he had heard the story even before Lucky Baskhar was in the works, but it kept staying with him. On why he signed the film despite not playing the character the title refers to, he put it simply. The film is about a daughter, and it is meant to make young girls believe they can aim for anything. He said the emotional core of the story is honest enough to connect with any family watching it.

On the music front, the team went with original lyrics in each language rather than translating the Telugu versions. Sreemani wrote the Telugu lyrics and Balaji Venugopal handled the Tamil ones, giving each version its own identity.

The team is confident that audiences will walk out of the theatre feeling something, and with the release just three weeks away, the hype is only going to build.

Satvika Veeravalli plays the central character in this movie, which also features Shruti Haasan in a bold role. The film brings together the banners Light Box, Swapna Cinemas, Vyjayanthi Movies and Geetha Arts.
