Ramayana: Rise of a Legend is just three days away from its worldwide release. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi play key roles in this Indian epic directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
The film’s advance bookings have seen a good jump, with sales increasing by nearly 36K in a single day. The previous highest was around 50K, but the number reached 86K yesterday. This is a big jump, and bookings are expected to increase further with the positive buzz around the film.
The response to the Los Angeles premiere has also given a boost to the film’s advance sales. If the trend continues, the number could soon cross the one-lakh mark.
Meanwhile, reports about the film’s screening formats have disappointed some fans. According to these reports, only IMAX screenings will be available in the flat format, while other screens will get the scope format. Many feel that limiting the flat format to IMAX despite the film’s huge budget is disappointing.
Backed by Namit Malhotra and Yash, the mythological epic also features Sunny Deol, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil and others. The film is set to release in multiple languages on November 5, 2026. Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman have composed the music.
