After scoring back-to-back hits with Karuppu and Vishwanath And Sons, Suriya is targeting a hat-trick with Scene. The movie, directed by Jithu Madhavan, will open in cinemas for Diwali 2026.

Meanwhile, an interesting speculation regarding the actor is grabbing eyeballs. Accordingly, Suriya is said to be holding talks with Peddi director Buchi Babu Sana for an action drama.

The word is that the director earlier narrated a script to Megastar Chiranjeevi, and if that project is delayed, he is planning to start working on Suriya starrer. However, the director hasn’t yet received the nod from either star, as per the buzz.

The highly popular Jolly LLB franchise is set to return with a another instalment, but without Akshay Kumar. According to an exclusive report by Variety India, the fourth instalment is already in production and is expected to wrap up shooting by January 2027.

The film stars Arshad Warsi in the lead role and is directed by Umesh Shukla. The project isn’t a sequel but a prequel. The first three parts of the franchise were directed by Subhash Kapoor.

The previous film expanded the franchise by bringing its two Jollys into the same courtroom. Arshad Warsi first played the title role in the 2013 film Jolly LLB, while Akshay Kumar played the lead in the second and third parts. In the fourth instalment, the spotlight shifts back to Arshad Warsi.

Indian 3 is back in the news after the makers announced that it will hit the big screens soon. The recent reports about the Kamal Haasan starrer have stirred discussions on social media.

Accordingly, Shankar is said to have requested 25 days of shooting to film additional footage, but Lyca reportedly turned down the proposal. The word is that the production house asked Shankar to prepare the final cut using the existing footage.

As per the buzz in Tamil film circles, the makers feel there is no need to invest further in the threequel, as they feel the footage already available will suffice. The reports make sense, since the second part was a box-office bomb.
