Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros has emerged as one of the most anticipated Malayalam films of 2026, officially arriving in theaters on April 2. Directed by debutant Savin S. A., the film features social media sensations Hashir H., Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V. in the lead roles.
This coming of age comedy drama has already secured a major victory at the box office, proving the immense drawing power of its young cast.
The film has crossed Rs. 42 crore globally, with over Rs. 18.2 crore collected from Kerala alone, marking an incredibly impressive performance for a production led by non-traditional stars.
Audience turnout remains exceptionally high, with ticket sales on BookMyShow nearing the one million mark. Notably, Saturday alone accounted for approximately 331,000 ticket sales, and Sunday collections are expected to be even larger. Currently, the film is maintaining a phenomenal pace with hourly sales clocking in at 16,000 tickets.
Produced by Vipin Das under the WBTS Productions banner in association with Imagine Cinemas, the project is bolstered by a strong supporting cast. Veteran and popular actors such as Sudheesh, Bijukuttan, Jagadish, Aju Varghese, and Vijay Babu provide the necessary depth, while a significant appearance by Alphonse Puthren adds to the film’s unique charm.
