Adivi Sesh is finally returning with a film titled Dacoit. Touted to be a romantic action thriller with elements of revenge, the movie is directed by Shaneil Deo and stars Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady. The movie is set for release on April 10, 2026.

Promotions have picked up pace, and Sesh recently interacted with audiences online about the film. Today, he revealed that the much-awaited Dacoit trailer will be released on April 4, 2026. Expectations for the film are decent so far, and it remains to be seen how much the trailer elevates them.

The film is bankrolled by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. Dacoit will also be released in Hindi. Prakash Raj, Anurag Kashyap, and others are part of this romantic revenge thriller, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

Salman Khan’s next theatrical appearance will be in the war action drama Maatrubhumi (initially titled Battle of Galwan). The film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, was initially set for an April release but got postponed due to extended shoot schedules.

Later, it was believed that the movie might arrive for the Independence Day weekend. However, according to the latest report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers are considering a May 15 release. Chitrangada Singh plays the female lead.

The report mentioned, “Most of the slots have been taken up by big-scale and significant films in July-October period. At one point, they wanted to get the film out on Independence Day, but that won’t be possible as Aamir Khan has taken the slot for the Sunny Deol-starrer Lahore 1947. The current plan is to ascertain if releasing Maatrubhumi on May 15 is possible. If not, they’ll bring it later.”
