Ustaad Bhagat Singh has ended its theatrical run on a disappointing note, emerging as a major box office failure. Even the fans did not like the film.

Despite massive expectations and pre-release hype, the Pawan Kalyan starrer failed to even cross the Rs 100 crore gross mark, which is considered underwhelming for a film of his stature.

Directed by Harish Shankar, the film was aggressively promoted, raising expectations among fans and trade circles. However, poor word of mouth and lack of engaging content impacted its overall performance.

As per trade estimates, the makers and distributors are expected to incur losses close to Rs 80 crore, making it one of the biggest setbacks in recent times for all involved.

According to the latest update, the trailer of this sci-fi romantic comedy will be released tomorrow at 5 PM. As of now, the buzz around the film isn’t very strong, and the promotional asset needs to click big to generate hype.

The futuristic entertainer stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead. S. J. Suryah, Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, and Mysskin will be seen in crucial roles. LIK is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under Seven Screen Studio, in collaboration with Nayanthara. Anirudh is the music composer.
