Exclusive interview : Sudheer Babu- I am a very shy person in real life

Sudheer Babu is one of the most promising stars in Tollywood and has some interesting films lined up. Suddheer celebrates his birthday today and on this occasion, we caught up with him for an exclusive interview. Let’s see what he has to say.

Q) You are a national level badminton player. What made you join films ?

Badminton required a lot of time and my studies were getting affected. I decided to concentrate on my studies and gave first priority to education. I had an inclination towards movies right from my childhood and when I got a chance to make a career out of it, I grabbed it with both hands.

Q) Who was your inspiration to get into films ?

Right from my childhood, I was a huge Krishna fan and used to watch all his films first day first show in Vijayawada. He was a huge inspiration and continues to be even in real life now.

Q) You have been in the industry for three years now. How is the journey so far ?

The journey has been amazing. I started with a small role in Gautam Menon’s film and am doing multiple projects right now. I am growing as an actor with every film and am trying to impress the audience with something different in my roles.

Q) Tell us about Mosagallaki Mosagadu ?

After hearing the reports that a sequel to Swamy Ra Ra is being planned, I was very eager to be a part of it. Luckily, the makers approached me for the lead role. As I liked the script very much, I said ok to the film. There is no connection between both the films and our project is more commercial than Swamy Ra Ra.

Q) What kind of role are you playing in the film ?

I play a small time thief who gets stuck into a huge problem. When compared to my other films, my look and body language will be quite stylish in the film. I have taken a lot of care regarding my looks and I hope the audience will like me in the film.

Q) Is Manchu Manoj playing a cameo in the film ?

Yes ! he is doing a small role in the film. I am very thankful to him for taking his time off during his busy wedding time and shooting in the hot sun. He is such a sweetheart.

Q) Tell us about your director and heroine ?

Our director Nellore Bose is a very talented person. He has extracted superb performances from the entire star cast and helped me a lot with my characterization. Nandini plays the female lead and has a very interesting character which goes with the story of the film.

Q) What is the status on Krishnamma Kailipindi Iddarini ?

The film is also gearing up for release soon. It is a pure love story which will be quite important in my career. My character has a lot of variations to portray and I have worked very hard on my performance.

Q) There were certain rumours that Mahesh Babu is doing a cameo in Mosagallaki Mosagadu ?

No ! Mahesh is not doing a cameo in the film. Initially, we thought about it but decided against it as Mahesh is too big an actor to play an cameo.

Q) What kind of a relation ship do you share with Mahesh Babu ?

I share a very close bond and take him as an inspiration in life. Mahesh has a lot of patience and the way he approaches a film is some thing very inspiring. He is a great family man and always thinks about making others around him very happy.

Q) What kind of a person are you in real life ?

I am a very shy and sensitive person in real life. I get angry very quickly and give my 100% to whatever I decide to do in life.

Q) What are your future projects ?

Mosagallaki Mosagadu is up for release this 21st May. Krishnamma Kailipindi Iddarini will follow suit, and my next venture with the working title Choopulu Kalisisina Subhavela is going on at a brisk space.
