Interview : Anu Emmanuel – Sirish is a good co-star

Allu Sirish will be next seen in the romantic entertainer Urvashivo Rakshashivo which is slated for November 4th release. Anu Emmanuel is the female lead. This entertainer is written and directed by Rakesh Sashii and is bankrolled by Dheeraj Mogilineni & Vijay M. Achu Rajamani, and Anup Rubens is combinedly scoring the music. Ahead of the film’s release, we interacted with the film’s leading lady. Here is the transcript.

 

How will your role be in the film?

I played Sindhu, a software employee, in the film. She wants to move ahead in her career and also desires to have love. Having said that, Sindhu doesn’t want her whole life to be restricted to love. Meanwhile, she comes across a simple guy named Sri Kumar. The plot is about how a simple guy and a career-oriented girl fell in love. Both hero and heroine will have different mindsets, and this is a new-age film.

 

Why did you accept this film?

There are a lot of reasons. I was in a dilemma after listening to this script, and this is when I met Allu Arvind, sir. He advised me to do something different and gave me the complete script. This is the first time I have read a full script. These days, audiences have changed and are just looking for good content. So I did a full-length role in this flick, unlike my earlier films.

 

How was your working experience with Allu Sirish & team?

I didn’t meet Sirish earlier. I first met him during the pooja ceremony, and then we started discussing our roles. Sirish is a good co-star. Our chemistry, love scenes, and emotions will attract audiences. Sirish has a good command of filmmaking. Director Rakesh Sashi is a very dedicated person who doesn’t have any other thoughts apart from films. Also, my belief in Geetha Arts made me do this project. Urvashivo Rakshashivo can be enjoyed thoroughly with family.

 

Does your role in the film have any similarity with yourself?

There are similarities and differences as well. In real life, Anu is a straightforward girl who wants to go up in her career, which is the similarity between Anu and Sindhu. But, as shown in the trailer, there isn’t any connection with the physical relationship in my personal life.

 

Did you feel about not getting regular offers?

In my career starting, I acted with Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, and Naga Chaitanya. I think about the roles and banner. So, it isn’t correct to say I am not getting offers. My films didn’t work out, but I never failed as an actor. After watching a few results, I changed myself. I am doing it only when I feel I will be suitable for a role. Success is not in my hands.

 

What are your upcoming films?

Currently, I am acting in Ravi Teja’s Ravanasura. My character will be very crazy in it. Also, I laid my focus on OTT, and I got an offer. I will let you know the details of this project very soon.
