Q) Working experience with Kalyan Ram?
A) I again worked with Kalyan after a decade-long gap and yes it was a very nice experience. He has grown up as an actor and even I did many films. We both used to share our past experiences on the sets. It’s more like a reunion of old friends. He is a very cooperative co-star.
Q) Did you ever dream of this long career while doing your first film, Lakshmi Kalyanam?
A) No. Honestly, I thought of doing just one film and go back to pursue my MBA. But life had other plans and I’m fortunate to be here for all these years. My special thanks to Telugu people for showering me with unconditional love.
Q) Tell us about your role in MLA?
A) In this film, I’m playing an NRI girl, who comes to India for a purpose. She is quite strong and intelligent.
Q) What is MLA all about?
A) It’s a pucca commercial entertainer which has a very good social message narrated undercurrently. I’m sure that audiences will definitely like this film.
Q) Are you satisfied with Awe’s result?
A) Yeah. I’m happy that people have accepted it. Being a different film and getting appreciation for it is a really satisfying thing.
Q) Any specific reasons to reject Ravi Teja’s Amar Akbar Anthony?
A) Due to prior commitments, I couldn’t sign that film. Besides that, there are no other reasons.
Q)Your next projects?
A) Right now, I’m doing Bollywood film Queen’s remake in Tamil. Apart from that, I recently signed a project opposite Bellamkonda Srinivas.
