Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Eagle is hitting the big screens this Friday. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film is produced by People Media Factory. Kavya Thapar and Anupama Parameswaran played the female leads. Ahead of the release, Kavya Thapar interacted with the media. Here is the transcript.
How did you become part of the project?
When I was shooting for a Bollywood film in Mumbai, director Karthik narrated me the story of Eagle. I felt it was excellent and unique. I decided to do it at that moment. On top of that, acting alongside Ravi Teja Garu was a great opportunity. They did a look test before selecting. The romance will be unique in Eagle, and the audience will surely enjoy it.
Could you tell us about your role in the film?
I played Rachana in Eagle, who has unique goals in life. The love story would be extraordinary, and I can’t reveal more about it. Ravi Teja Garu and I shared a unique chemistry. The movie has come out well, and our entire team is confident.
How was it working with Ravi Teja Garu?
I am fortunate to have worked with Ravi Teja Garu. I am a big fan of his personality. He will always stay positive. He is a funny person while on sets, and he also gives solid support. Working with him will always be memorable.
What is the best compliment you received for Eagle?
Writer Mani Garu told me I played my role pretty well and that he saw Rachana, not Kavya, on screen. Receiving such a compliment from a writer gave me satisfaction. I believe I did complete justice to my role.
What kind of films do you wish to do?
I want to do mass action films (giggles). Also, I wish to do supernatural films.
