How is the response for the film?
The most happiest thing for me is that the universal appreciation that I have been getting. Everyone in the family wants to see my film and have a good time. I am happy with such a huge response and can’t ask for more.
Do you always keep heroes in mind while writing your scripts?
Yes! I need to have the hero fixed in my mind while writing my script. I cannot write a story first and then add a hero according to his craze. I write stories depending on his or her body language and image.
About Sharwa’s performance in the film?
I feel that no one except Sharwa could have pulled off the role. Once you see the film, you will feel right away that no one would fit in Sharwa’s place. He has done such a good job which has worked wonders for the film.
News about Chay’s next?
The news that I will be making a film with post marriage egos is completely false. My next with Chay will be a complete love story with fresh feel
How do you decide on your stories?
As soon as I get the idea, I discuss it with a lot of people. I check their reactions and if they are positive, I go ahead and develop it even more.
About working in other genres?
My intention is to work on different genres. I don’t like getting stuck with an image as I have a fear that audience will get bored easily. So, I always see that I come up with different concepts and entertain them completely.
Your Ultimate aim in life?
I am here to entertain and my aim is to work with biggest of the stars in the industry. My work should leave a mark and the audience should right away feel that this is Maruthi mark scene or film. That is the day I will feel that I have achieved something.
